Lessons for every level
Every lesson is built around where your child is now, whether that's building confidence in Year 6 or aiming for the top grades at GCSE.
-
Years 6–8
Strong foundations
Number, fractions, early algebra and problem solving, so the bigger topics later feel manageable. Good for catching up or getting ahead.
-
Years 9–11
GCSE and IGCSE
Foundation and Higher tier, following what they're doing at school. Edexcel International GCSE (linear and modular) and other exam boards.
-
Before exams
Exam preparation
Past papers, mark schemes and exam technique for tests, mocks and final exams. One-off lessons before a test are fine too.

How I teach
-
Start from what they know
The first lesson finds the gaps. From there, each lesson builds on the one before.
-
Explain it more than one way
If an explanation doesn't land, I try another: a diagram, a simpler example or a different route to the same answer.
-
Practise like the real thing
Older students work on real exam questions, marked the way an examiner would.
Taught to the mark scheme
Examiners give marks for the method, not just the final answer, so lots of marks are won or lost in the working. Students learn to show every step that earns credit.
- M1
- a correct method
- A1
- an accurate answer (needs the M1)
- B1
- a correct result, independent of method
